For the females of the world who don’t give a shit about the Kardashians, who like girly shit but that say things like “girly shit”.
Who doesn’t try to be perfect but strives to always do better.
Who is more comfy in ripped jeans than a dress.
Who values friendship, doesn’t take any shit, and who would be there in a heartbeat to help someone.
Who love greatly, have been bruised by life but keeps going.
The strong-willed girls who aren’t afraid of taking a stand, the ones with substance and a lot of opinions.
The ones that know they aren’t quite like everyone else and have probably been called weird on more than one occasion.
We are the women who never seem to fit in and are quite content with that.

Nice to meet you, I’m Sarah.
A bit more about me
Thanks for being here, we’re gonna be good friends.
I’m a 39 year old single, childless introvert. I have a bunch of tattoos (@femmeinkssm on
I’m a dog mom and an Auntie to the cutest little buggers on the planet. I’m a little sweary and unapologetic about it. I love and feel things greatly (HSP anyone?) and am passionate about how hard it is to feel good in a world full of superficial pressures.
I suffer from depression and fibromyalgia. It fucking sucks but I’m thankful that it’s not something far worse.
I’m a SUPER loving friend and will go to the ends of the earth for you, however, when I think you’re wrong or being an idiot I’ll tell ya.
I have never been consumed by worrying what everyone thinks and un-wavered that I’ve been called weird on many occasions.
I want to help you become free of the limitations those types of fears place on us. I started this site because I find myself constantly thinking about and being bothered by things such as; the hundreds of selfies posted on social media, the utter obsession with eyebrows and all the people who are just hoping to become the next big thing.
I started thinking about how much of our lives are taken up by these things and started wondering the reasons behind them. I am passionate about my argument that we need to love ourselves more and will be your personal cheerleader in doing that.
We are all unique so let’s stop trying to be the same. I believe a lot of this is stemming from insecurities and self-perception and on the other side of the coin, vanity.
We live in a superficial world but there’s MUCH more to life, we just have to be less afraid to be our real selves, inside and out. Don’t get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with fixing yourself up and feeling good about it. Its the extremity of and mass amounts of this that anger me and put unnecessary, burdensome and empty pressures on us all.
Fuck that.
Let’s be real and feel good about it. Show our weird, love the things that really matter and be proud and feel good in our own fucking skin.
